Here&#8217;s what Kypreos had to say:</p>

The Canucks &#8212; namely, Jim Rutherford &#8212; were fairly transparent with their desire to let Boeser &#8220;do it again&#8221; before signing him to a new contract, as Boeser has been eligible to sign a contract extension with the Canucks since July 1st.</p>
<p>The Canucks selected Boeser with the 23rd overall pick in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft. Despite being on pace for over 30 goals over multiple injury-plagued seasons, Boeser hit the mark for the first time in his career last season, and added ten more to reach an even more impressive final tally of 40.</p>
