On the heels of <a href="https://canucksarmy.com/news/canucks-gm-patrik-allvin-wants-brock-boeser-to-be-even-more-consistent-in-2024-25">an interview</a> with Thomas Drance in which he said he wants Boeser to become &#8220;even more consistent&#8221; in 2024-25, Allvin admitted to MacIntyre that the Canucks will have to make a decision on how to handle the 27-year-old winger before the 2025 trade deadline.

However, the Burnsville, Minnesota product enjoyed a resurgent season last year, finishing fourth on the Pacific Division-winning Canucks in scoring.
Boeser&#8217;s current contract, which he signed on Canada Day in 2022, carries a $6.65 million cap hit. He is the only core piece of the Canucks&#8217; roster whose existing deal is slated to expire in 2025.
The Canucks are scheduled to kick off the 2024-25 regular season when they take on the Calgary Flames at Rogers Arena on October 9.
