They finished with a 44-22-6 record for 94 points, placing third in the Eastern Conference. Located in North Carolina, the franchise is the sixth farthest away from their NHL counterpart, who play out of Sunrise, Florida.</p>
<p>Abbotsford are set for a tough matchup in the group from Charlotte, who swept their last two series en route to the Finals. Look out for the goaltending battle between Checkers netminder Kaapo Kahkonen, who holds a .927 SV% across 12 games played, and Arturs Silovs, who has a .929 SV% through all 18 of Abbotsford&#8217;s playoff matches.</p>
